Surface design (Obeverse)
The obverse features a depiction of the Sultan Qaitbay Mosque.
The mosque is located in Cairo's Northern Cemetery and was built in 1474 by Sultan Al-Ashraf Qaitbay.
It is considered one of the masterpieces of late Mamluk architecture and is characterized by its intricate geometric patterns and arabesque decorations.
